Casey Harver founded Kodiak Survival School in the spring of 2020 after retiring with 21 years of service from the US Navy SEAL Teams. A life long woodsman, he has extensive wilderness survival experience and qualified as a Master Training Specialist while in service. He has worked extensively with other survival experts in the USA and around the world in countries including New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Cambodia, Iraq to name a few. He is passionate about Kodiak Survival Schools mission to share Kodiak's wilderness and waters with everyone!

Lacey Harver cofounded Kodiak Survival School in the spring of 2020. She is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys sharing her love for nature with others. A Chemistry Teacher by trade, Lacey sees the magic of the wilderness around Kodiak. When she is not on the trails, mountains, and ocean, she is working with local youth on tap dancing, jazz, or theatre productions

Otter Bob is an accomplished Woodsman and Professional Trapper; he has 40 Years of experience in Kodiak. He has worked diligently in service to Kodiak Island Burrough for much of that time. Otter Bob got his nickname because of his deep knowledge of the animals that make their home in Kodiak, "he must be a half-otter." Bob is an accomplished artisan and silversmith. He fabricates the most exquisite jewelry. In addition, he is a true survivor who has escaped crashes in bush planes, fires, and shipwrecks. We were proud to have Otter Bob join our team in the fall of 2022.
